As if the Murph Marathon 1.0 wasn’t challenging enough, Franky and Murph crew are back for another test of the body and mind, pushing the limits of endurance, resilience, and teamwork.
After Franky was diagnosed in 2022 with sarcoma in his arm, he always wanted to do something for charity as a means of giving back but it wasn’t until he heard of Jack’s passing that it gave him the incentive to get Murph Marathon off the ground. The challenge begins with a marathon run (42km) from Wapping, London to Cobham, Surrey. After completing a Murph workout, the team will run a second marathon back to Wapping, concluding with a rooftop party.
For those who are not familiar, a Murph consists of:
1-mile run
100 pull-ups
200 push-ups
300 squats
Another 1-mile run
All whilst wearing a weighted 10kg vest (optional)
Participants can choose their level of challenge:
Full Challenge - 84km + Murph
Marathon + Murph - 42km + Murph
Half Marathon + Murph - 21km + Murph
Murph Only
