Maratona de Lisboa ‘25

If you attended the first ever Transcend organised event at Colours then you may recognise Tom’s face as one of the members of Volleyball who closed the show back in February 2024. This time, 18 months on, Tom swapped his bass guitar for his running shoes as he took on the Lisbon marathon. The Lisbon Marathon is known for its beautiful coastal route, with the course being 100% sea and river side. Despite the rain occasionally dimming Lisbon’s usually idyllic backdrop, Tom refused to let the weather dampen his spirits, powering through to complete the 26.2 miles in style.

Tom has been woven into the fabric of Transcend from the start - performing in the Colours gig, creating the artwork for the show, and continuing to bring his design talents to the team whenever a creative touch is needed, and now channeling that same energy into raising over £1,000 for sarcoma research.

From everyone at Transcend, thank you Tom for all you do! Transcend wouldn’t be the same without your creativity, energy, and dedication!
