Some Enchanted Evening

On June 14th 2025, we were treated to an evening of summer music hosted by the award-winning amateur wind band, Swindon Concert Band at Christ Church, Swindon. Made up of a talented ensemble of local musicians, the band performed a lively selection of pieces including the Star Wars and Jurassic Park theme tunes.

Featuring alongside the band for a few of the songs was the incredibly talented baritone Sam Young, and on piano by Jack’s mum, Gill Holmes, who some of you may remember from our evening of opera in York back in September 2024.

A big thank you to the Swindon Concert Band for hosting such a memorable evening. We’re so lucky to have such gifted musicians as part of the Transcend community, and even luckier that they continue to share their time and talent with us!
